The festival is organized by "Tangoforeningen" (Copenhagen Tango Society). Tangoforeningen is financially supported by it's members through yearly club dues. All the work within the organization is voluntary. We aim to make this a non profit festival. Which, in terms, means that the participants only pay the actual cost. In the event that we do make a profit, the money will be transferred to next years festival.
The purpose of the organization is to arrange different kinds of tango events that our members can benefit from. Everyone is of course welcome to take part in the event, since this is a great chance for us to share our passion for tango. And thereby we hope to be able to reach new potential members. Since our members already have supported us financially, there is a discount on the entrance fee for our members.
You can be a member too for the yearly price of 200 Dkr.
